It seems Nexa is deccing every corp she can find, and it seems like a great way to find some good combat. I think this is what nexa is trying to cultivate with her massive wardec campaings, but I could just be out there.... anyways my two cents. carry on. Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

Originally by: Janus Cohen Well unless you were a industrial character after two months I would expect you to be combat ready. maybe not BC ready, but you should be able to do some damage in a frigate at least....
i started totally mixed up as a char. my skills were a bit of everything (e.g. trade lvl 2) with no real path aiming no where. after friends told me some things i have moved into lvling learning and now moving slowly slowly into BC. so yes soon enough i expect to be able to fly one but not support it with the secondary things needed (whats the point of flying one when you cant have the shield, fire power etc). at the moment though a frigate can be ''fried'' if needed
yep all you need is some good wingmen to fly with you and support you. Nexa is a good pilot, but I doubt she would be able to do much without her gangmates. I think newb corps should try to balance their corps with combat types and industry types so that war dec corps can chose less organized targets. Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

Wrong again. I started my corp solo with a crap skillset and basic ships and gear. I would dec 3 corps constantly, and in return I would also have people hire merc corps to help kill me. I managed to score plenty of kills with minimal losses.
Nowadays if you look at my kb stats, you will see half of my kills are solo kills.
Never underestimate the damage a single player can do. I had my alt who could barely use scrammers dec a corp and do 250mil+ in damage to them using only a Caracal.
Sorry I did not mean to take away from your own personal skills, just encouraging fleets for less skilled players. Their salvcation would be a frigate gang. I have seen many caracal die to a 2-3 frigates.I would like to point out to new players though that a frig gang can be most upsetting to single players, and you only need a few to takeout a battleship. All you need to do is use tactics. Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

Originally by: Arcani Victus I believe a viable solution would be to have the members who leave a corp during a war still be valid war targets (or flashing red) for 72 hours.
Actually the solution would be getting rid of the alts. So if Nexa was offended, the offenders would be accountable for their actions. Alts and their alt corps are causing the problem, so.....just get rid of the alts. Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

So I met a carebear yesterday. It seemed he wanted to become rich and then PVP. So he decided he would mine and mine and see how much isk he could get. I think this kind of thinking is hazardous, but I wonder if he is a carebear for this. I had the chance to chat with him for quite a while, and he seemed really lonely, because mining I guess is best done afk, and people can't chat while afk. Well to the point, I am against this kind of thinking, because I feel it degrades the gameplay. If you want to be rich sell a GTC. But to Ki an I dont like the idea of making your alt do all the work. Anyways keep up the good work traps. I hope you bring the influence you have on CCP to the bounty system next. Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

Edited by: Janus Cohen on 02/06/2008 02:52:12 Well. Most people who are interested in carebearing should be in 0.0 sec. Everyone knows with folks like Nexa running around that it is tons safer. I think people in high sec. are just too lazy to jump to 0.0 sec. But to all those who say a character must stay in a corp during a wardec are foolish. What if you want to fire someone for something? Any good CEO would never give up his right to fire someone........ Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

Just to get back on topic.... Nexa how does this stop the corp from getting away from a wardec? Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |
